I am having this issue right now. Do you have the part number? Are there instructions around on how to replace it? Any information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!!I did replace mine and it was an easy install.
There’s only 3 screws. The one on the backside took up most of my time. All you do is pull the motor straight out.I am having this issue right now. Do you have the part number? Are there instructions around on how to replace it? Any information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you ! Out of all these posts, you are the ONLY one I could find with arrows that said, "It's right here dummy!" LOL....thanks again, now I can do this with confidence. There’s only 3 screws. The one on the backside took up most of my time. All you do is pull the motor straight out.

It’s real easy to replace. Thanks a million for those pics and description of how to remove the actuator.
My wife recently complained that her 2020 JLU is making a clicking noise behind the glove box area. I removed the glove box today and discovered that the blend door actuator was trying to cycle back and forth. This was after the Jeep had been turned off for over an hour. A bit of google searching led me to this thread.
Although she has a MaxCare extended warranty, it would cost her a $100 ded. for them to replace it. I found a genuine Mopar 68301847AA replacement actuator for around $38. If this isn't too hard to replace, I might try it myself.
Thanks for the encouragement, although that third hidden T20 Torx screw in the back doesn't look like it will be much fun to remove. I bought a 1/4" drive T20 bit and am waiting for the actuator to arrive, hopefully before Christmas. It is being shipped USPS.It’s real easy to replace.
You are correct about that hidden screw. Removing that screw was the hardest part. It just takes a little longer to remove. Thanks for the encouragement, although that third hidden T20 Torx screw in the back doesn't look like it will be much fun to remove.
