Hardest part is making sure you get them on straight and in the same spot on both sides.
Before you take them off, put a strip of blue painter’s tape underneath and along the sides. Then remove the letters along with any remaining adhesive. Clean that area with alcohol after. The new letters will be set already spaced on a removable decal. Just line the new letters up with the painters tape and stick them down in the area you outlined with tape. Remove the tape and the clear decal from the top of the letters and you are done.

One of the first things I did a few years ago. Privately, I wish a lot of the models released since then didn't have so many blacked out badges. Makes mine a little less unique.

There's nothing daunting about removing or adding new emblems. Took me ten minutes, if that. I took a heat gun, sprayed the emblem for a little bit and then took 50 lb mono, pulled it "under" the letter and applied a little force. Rinse and repeat. I cheated though, I didn't completely remove the adhesive and used it to make sure "Jeep" would be perfectly straight on each side when I put on the new one.
