Holcomb is tough. The rock garden can be a bear. Its been a while but it took us a while to get through that short stretch and we were all on big tires. One person got stuck for about an hour and some random guy came by and helped us get through it. The rest of it is not a big deal. I think on 33s you may have to winch

Have You considered a Gold Mountain?

  1. Let them download the Badge of Honor app.
  2. The trail starts off with an immediate but very manageable gate keeper to get them engaged from the beginning.
  3. A couple of challenging obstacles (depending on line) perfectly spaced to keep them engaged.
  4. Take them through the boneyard

Make sure you are doing Holcomb valley and not Holcomb creek which is the harder trail. As for moderate-easy I suggest Burns Canyon-Rattlesnake canyon- old city creek if it’s open.

Did gold mountian last year.
I think it may be a little much for my little kids
But I guess I could do the gate keeper with them and use that as a tester
