Big Bear - Memorial Day Weekend

OK - I'm going to suggest we hit Holcomb first - the tougher of the two. Let's shoot for 0730 at the trailhead (https://maps.app.goo.gl/ws4forSDVR5271E78). If we get through that unscathed we can head over to John Bull and see how the line is at the gatekeeper. If we end up having trouble on Holcomb, I'd rather have trouble in the daytime rather than after dark.

It was probably blocked and super busy because this weekend is the 33rd annual Jeep Jamboree in Big Bear. I was supposed to go, went to book 2 months ago and they were sold out. Got put on the waiting list and never got called back. Tried to join their FB page to see if anyone could help and was denied because I’ve never done any of the Jeep Jamboree runs before. F Jeep Jamboree.

I was trying to swing joining them today but decided to have a casual weekend and get my street bike running. If it’s true I’m more glad I stayed home.

I’m watching pro motocross on peacock right now. I’ve got about a full day’s work to get my RT going and haven’t even started yet. Just kicking it and piddling around with video clips from our last run.

Looks like they found each other and were able to run Holcomb and are on JB right now.

Yep we found each other. Less than 3 minutes after I found the west end @craiggcame crawlin out. We then ran ut from the bittom to the top in about 2 hours only came across one other group of 5.

After exiting at where I was supposed to meet him we went over to JB waited on the Jamboree group to get started and a couple jeeps coming down and then we ran that as well.

Overall an amazing day of wheeling guess we need to make sure we confirm meet up points also the BOH app has it all wrong.
