OK, let's try this again.

Memorial day weekend - anyone up for doing a day at Big Bear? I'd like to hit a couple of trails (probably Holcomb and JB). Alternately, I'd be down for doing something at Corral Canyon - would want to hit a couple there - Sidewinder and possibly Bronco Peak.

Saturday, 5/24.
Meet at 0730 at https://maps.app.goo.gl/ws4forSDVR5271E78

Holcomb Creek. Afterwards we may do John Bull if we get through HC in good time and the line's not too long.

2 people right now:

@GMONEY

Let me know if anyone else is joining so we know to expect you.

See you there!

Probably not for me. As much as I want to run those trails. But following just in case.

You thinking one day to do both
That's what I'm thinking but I'd be open to spreading it across 2 days and camping. I'm thinking early morning start on JB then hitting Holcomb afterwards. If it was across 2 days I'd probably throw Gold Mtn in there somewhere.

I can be on the road by 530 if I have to. Would get me up the mountain between 7 and 730.
OK - I'm going to suggest we hit Holcomb first - the tougher of the two. Let's shoot for 0730 at the trailhead (https://maps.app.goo.gl/ws4forSDVR5271E78). If we get through that unscathed we can head over to John Bull and see how the line is at the gatekeeper. If we end up having trouble on Holcomb, I'd rather have trouble in the daytime rather than after dark.

LMK if that works for you.

Still open for others to join as well!
