Awesome.

If you go with the track option, then mount your phone to the left side of the track.. You can position the radar detector right next to it on the track.

We have this radar detector mount/riser for this application.

https://www.tackform.com/products/magnetic-radar-detector-holder-amps
It will be back in stock in about a week.

In short, you adhere a foam pad with a metal plate to the bottom of your radar detector..

..then mount the magnetic riser plate to the track.

This way you can easily remove your radar detector it and throw it in your center console.. or take it with you.

If you want it sitting higher you can look at the following add on.

This will put another ball on the track with a short arm and the radar detector mount.

Nick when will the dash mounts be back in stock, 2020 JL?

I use a Quad Lock holder with the matching case on my iPhone. The holder is mounted to the left side of the passenger grab bar on the dash. It keeps it in easy reach, close to the USB ports on the dash and doesn't obscure the view out the windshield.

I guess I'm only one using slot between cup holders? My wifes phoneputer wont fit but mine does.

Nice holster mount, not seeing it on their website, is it custom? Again, I usually stuff it between passenger seat and center console, its not going anywhere.
I occasionally use the key holder slot in the cup holder, but it gets in the way when trying to put drinks back in the cup holder.

If the thread color is what you asking, Not necessarily custom but you can email him to see what other color threads he has available. As for the pistol holster they are custom for the type of pistol you have, you have to email him first to ensure he has the correct block (I think that is what they are called) to shape the leather around.

I went with Tackform because Nick was helpful and a sponsor. I'll see how it works when it gets here.

Looks great!
I have a question if you don’t mind sharing some feedback..

Similar to other ball and socket systems when shopping from our site you can build a kit with any arm length. But what we see is most people don’t quite know what length they need so they rely on us to recommend what we think is the best fit.

So what we started doing is building all of our kits to have them come with a standard arm length.

This way, someone could just go to the website and add to cart and check out without having to put too much thought into the specific configuration.

Of course, people that are more familiar with our products tend to build larger more robust kits from scratch and can mix a match and get it exactly how they want it.

That being said, do you like that arm length or it pushes the phone more over your radio? I wasn’t sure if this was an arm length that you personally selected or if it was the one that came standard with the kit.

In a kit like that, we would typically go with a shorter 3 1/2 inch arm that would push the phone more in front of the vent so it’s a tad bit more in direct line of sight. I don’t think either is better or worse just curious on your opinion…

thanks in advance!
I love that you are in here staying in touch with your customer base and soliciting feedback. I work in new product development and implementation for a company that hit #1 in market share for our segment last year! We constantly bring in customers for a preview of what we are working on and get feedback on how they are using our product and what would make the current offering better. We find that a lot of those people end up buying the new product because they feel a sense of ownership in it.

We too learned that the vast majority of people prefer a package over ala carte options. They responded that they trusted packages more. That's why I bought bulletpoint. Pretty sure they were the only "package" option at the time.

As far as the arm length. It works great for me. I have the base stereo without android auto. Everything runs on my phone. The head unit is basically a Bluetooth speaker. Google maps is easier to use in landscape while driving. The bulletpoint mount arm length sets the screen right to the edge of the screen. A shorter arm would bring it closer to the driver though.

You want to send me a scratch and dent shorter arm to mate between the bulletpoint mounts, i will give you some feedback after about a month and send it back.

We have a couple phone holders from "67 Designs". So far, they are great.

That's epic! and yes I have a few open box parts here. Can you send me a direct message with your shipping and email address? I'd also love to talk sometime to hear more about what you do.

I will send you a DM. Just know my review will be 100% legit. Product improvement doesn't come from ata boys and pats on the back. One of my vendors calls my team the wrecking crew because more than a few of his parts have been returned in pieces. Lol. But they always take our feedback to the engineers and usually come back..... usually.

Perfect. It's the only way. We're pretty diligent at testing as well so we encourage this. It's the best way to grow and serve your customers.

I am using the Bulletpoint Dash Grille Mounting Plate with Ram Mount ball mount and arm extension components.

Pictures to follow when I walk back to the motel from the restaurant so I can take a couple of pictures.
