I think I figured out the cleanest way to mount a phone. It uses the Proclip Magnetic Mount combined with these Metal Magnetic Rings to hold your phone in any angle. You can slide the proclip mount from left to right of the radio. I have the USB plugged into the 12v with the cable tucked behind the plastic knee panel. You can put the metal ring on the back of your phone or inside your phone case. I've been driving around spiritedly with this for a few weeks now and it has never fallen off. I finally took the plunge on wireless qi charging mounts, because I got tired of trying to plug my phone in, BUT I knew how strong magnet mounts are from having the meaty part of my finger tip getting pinched from previous magnet mounts. Sometimes I feel like I'm forgetting something before I drive off, because I have been plugging my phone in for years.

I’ve seen those but I’m not a fan of a thick stem sticking out of my dash
To each their own. They have smaller arms that you can get so it doesn't do that.

From my experience with two separate magnetic ones, when offroading, it doesn't hold - even the 67D one didn't hold too well. That's why i got the one that holds it from the sides and collapses down onto the phone to hold it - doesn't move at all

I saw those too but it has the same issue I had with my previous mount was that it blocked the vents. When the AC is on its fine, keeps the phone cool, but heat is really bad. Especially with how powerful ours is
These can fit in the bolts for the grab handle in front of the dash. If you replace the left bolt it’ll be close to the position of my offroam mount but still not in front of the vent.

the problem is I the only mount I know of that fits this size ball is the ram mount, which I have not heard good things about. But if you could find a mount that fits that size ball mount, could be an option.

Timely thread. Just this morning I ordered the following: https://www.bulletpointmountingsolu...avigation-with-iphone-and-android-smartphones
Odd that it now states that it is "sold out" on their website.
Thanks for posting this link, although I only need to mount a cell phone:

JEEP WRANGLER JL/JLU + GLADIATOR JT UNIVERSAL DRIVER SIDE JEEP PHONE M - Bulletpoint Mounting Solutions

Seems very similar to the 67 product, but at a much more reasonable price. That said, I'm just curious if you or others can advise on how well it works before I pull the trigger. Really appreciate it!
