Best phone mount for 2026 wrangler rubicon?

I had a Offraom i-phone mount in my 2019 Rubicon that was good, but the mount they make for my newer 2026 Rubicon with the big screen looks like it gets in the way of either the screen and/or the steering wheel when mounting it in the holes on the top of the dash. Some others I've seen mount on top of the dash and take up a good chunk of the windshield view, which is limited anyway by the small windshield.
What have other 2026 owners used and liked?

I could definitely answer any questions you have.

We manufacture a mount that attaches into one of the two cubbies on the top of the dashboard.

We have the following solution for that.

We have a massive ecosystem of 20 mm ball and socket parts, mostly comprising of metal components aside from some of our electronic or wireless charging cradles.

The product in the link above has an integrated track so you can easily mount more than one device.

Also, because it’s on a track, you can slide the ball along the track to move the phone closer or farther to the dashboard and get it out of the way of the screen. It can sit just to the left of the touchscreen.

I can dig up some videos from the driver seat or get some photos if you’d like.

If you have any thing else you’re looking at, I’d be happy to provide a more detailed comparison of differences. But I think in terms of fit and finish machining and build quality. Everything we offer is top-tier.

Nowadays, so many sites like Amazon have super liberal return policies so I always tell people just buy both and if you think the other product is better, you can send ours back. But it’s very very rare we get anything back.

Nick, your products look good. I need the phone mount first, but can I also add a escort Max 360c next to the phone mount or is it only direct connect? I just hate the windshield suction cup mount. I saw that there was another piece you could attach to the base piece that could fit more options. I could add a camera or something else. What would you suggest?

If you go with the track option, then mount your phone to the left side of the track.. You can position the radar detector right next to it on the track.

We have this radar detector mount/riser for this application.

In short, you adhere a foam pad with a metal plate to the bottom of your radar detector..

..then mount the magnetic riser plate to the track.

This way you can easily remove your radar detector it and throw it in your center console.. or take it with you.

If you want it sitting higher you can look at the following add on.

This will put another ball on the track with a short arm and the radar detector mount.

I like that i can turn the ac vent up and cool my phone when running topless and the sun is beating down on it. The actual position is much lower. The camera angle makes it look like it is sitting higher than it is. They sell a stubby drop leg that could be used to locate the phone directly in between the vent and head unit. The @Tackform stuff looks good too. I don't have any experience worth them though.

I second this option. These are great. I have ordered 2 phone holsters and 1 pistol holster. Just to confirm how happy I am with the product I am getting ready to order another phone holster, another pistol holster for the new rig.

I have a question if you don’t mind sharing some feedback..

Similar to other ball and socket systems when shopping from our site you can build a kit with any arm length. But what we see is most people don’t quite know what length they need so they rely on us to recommend what we think is the best fit.

So what we started doing is building all of our kits to have them come with a standard arm length.

This way, someone could just go to the website and add to cart and check out without having to put too much thought into the specific configuration.

Of course, people that are more familiar with our products tend to build larger more robust kits from scratch and can mix a match and get it exactly how they want it.

That being said, do you like that arm length or it pushes the phone more over your radio? I wasn’t sure if this was an arm length that you personally selected or if it was the one that came standard with the kit.

In a kit like that, we would typically go with a shorter 3 1/2 inch arm that would push the phone more in front of the vent so it’s a tad bit more in direct line of sight. I don’t think either is better or worse just curious on your opinion…

The best is None. With wireless CarPlay and Bluetooth, you can leave your phone in your pocket or the center console. Why block your view?

I guess I'm only one using slot between cup holders? My wifes phoneputer wont fit but mine does.

Nice holster mount, not seeing it on their website, is it custom? Again, I usually stuff it between passenger seat and center console, its not going anywhere.

I run the RAM mount track system on my dash and a few mounts off of that to hold my phone, iPad and radar detector. Easy install, 2 screws. I use RAM mounts in all my vehicles.
