Looking for feed back on the best off road apps out there. Specifically ones that do a good job with, Moab, Sand Hollow, California trails and Colorado trails.

I have been using Gaia for two years. I was running it when we were wheeling together at Moab.

Gaia for me as well. Used it in Moab and all over Colorado. I use it in conjunction with map files I download from Trailsoffroad.com

I like that I can dowload from trailsoffroad and import into Gaia all from my iphone or my iPad. Carplay integration is nice too

I use alltrails pro, it lets me find trails, read reviews and then download the trail for offline use!

I’m kind of a GIS nerd and have used all kinds of stuff over the years. For work I use ArcMap Pro, which you do not want.

For recreational uses I think Gaia is hard to beat, especially now that you can link “all trails” pro to it. It allows you to download trails directly into Gaia. It’s hard to beat...as I already stated.

I use Gaia GPS (paid subscription) because it is available across devices; plan on the home computer, use on the tablet in the Wrangler. Or, track on tablet and save on home computer. I have recently started using All Trails as a tool to find trails, and descriptions then download the GPX for use in Gaia GPS.

Gaia paid. Wont post a link, but if you look a little, easy to find someone's affiliate discount. $128 for 5 years is what I found and was a no-brainer for me, for what it provides

Trailsoffroad recently announced you can now upload GPX files directly into Gaia straight from the Trailsoffroad.com website. They have added a "Upload to Gaia GPS" button to all of the trailhead description pages and the map view.

New Feature: Push GPX Files Directly to GAIA GPS - Trails Offroad

Shout out to Caltopo. Draw objects and layers online and sync with your phone for offline download. Can change overlay between their default (which has a lot of trails), to USGS Quads, and forestry service maps.
