I wanted an older Jeep so, I bought a Suzuki Samari. Its similar but, much smaller than it looked in the pictures
Does it come with death wobble standard ? I had to pay extra for that on my tj.

They are a lot of fun but are getting older so more parts need replacement. I have a Sidekick but just purchased a 2020 Rubicon as I get frustrated and tired of replacing parts and fixing things. Still a lot of fun as long as you don't crank the wheel at 40 mph like Consumer Reports did

Love the Sammy. I had one in college. Drove the piss out of it on road and off road. Iā€™d buy another one in a heartbeat if I could find one thatā€™s not totally rusted out.
Long live the Samurai.

I did not buy it, but know a few who have..

Lantsun Spare Tire Carrier Tailgate Bracket Hinge Reinforcement Kits Oversized for 2018-2019 Jeep JL Wrangler

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TVC5HZ3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_InBmEbRP6Y1JV

I looked at it side by side with my Mopar one, I'm pretty sure this is made on the same assembly line as Mopar. Wish I bought it to save some cash.

Best deal I ever got were Chinese mud tire knockoffs for $20 for a set of FIVE!!!!

Looks like you skimped and only mounted 4 though.
That 5th one may have added some counter balance weight and prevented that whole mess. Oh well, live and learn

I know there are definitely times to buy the real deal, but just like harbor freight , every once in awhile you can find some good stuff for cheap-whereas some of it lives up to the chinese made junk you expect.

What's the best knock-off mod you ever bought for your jeep that surprised your expectations?

I recall buying some knock off steel grab bars for my jk that were solid and 1/4 the price as the name brand ones. I think it was $50 for the set and the real ones were $200.
Matt:

I'm pretty sure this only deserves "notable mention" and not high honors in the ultimate knock-off realm, but you have to laugh at how while FCA/MOPAR and Strattec (the makers of the Bolt Lock) were likely debating back and forth how each of their JL hood lock products would appear to the consumer (e.g. automatically configurable lock versus need for the user to set the tumbler pins to match the key, etc.) the Chinese just came out with and sold their own version of Strattec's automatically configurable cylinder at top dollar until these companies came to agreement.

..an agreement that was delayed likely because FCA/MOPAR was trying to exercise muscle over Strattec on.

Sure the Chinese knockoff doesn't let you take the key out unless the hood is locked while Bolt's version allows key removal in either the lock's locked or unlocked position, but IMHO this is a small detail.

Had no idea about that. I just bought the bolt version too. Oh well, good info. Thanks!

The Chinese versions will soon come with the added bonus of the Coronavirus.

I've had three, 2 back in the day, high school days. One of the funniest vehicles I ever owned. I drove by a house that had one in the driveway. I said "What the Heck" went up and knocked on the door. Asked the lady if she wanted to sell it. She said "actually, yes". I gave her 2k for it. Had it for a few months and soon realized I'm not in high school anymore. Sold it for 5500....

Knockoff Mopar all weather mats basically the same thing without the logos. But for $40-60 bucks instead of $154. Both mats wear away at the same speed and yes you get the dinosaur haha.

This is pretty cool. But where can we get these.
