Best Intake valve cleaner

This will be my first DI engine in fact it’s the first gasser I’ve had in years (hd diesels) so would it be a good idea to run a valve cleaner through once in a while because of the nature of DI ? If so which one would be the go to ?

I’ve ran DI gas engines for a fair bit of time. It seems that blow by oil is typically the culprit, with crud building up in the intake.. Lots of threads here about catch cans and most report zero or very little oil in the can. My advice is just drive it and enjoy it. Mine runs 87 octane just fine thank you.

Yeah I read a bunch of threads about catch cans on these think I’ll spend money elsewhere lol

If you have build-up on your intake and or the exhaust, NOTE this used to be a REAL problem back when Gasoline was leaded. About every 10,000 HIGHWAY miles or 3-5000 city miles we would pour a can of H2O down thru the carb and like magic the engine ran like new. Tune up in a can.

WORKS exceptionally well, I did it on every oil change.

I doubt you have any issues with build-up in today's gasoline and my suggestion is to just drive it.
