Will the stock charging system work with a lithium Antigravity H6/Group-48 Car Battery

As I said I cant speak in relation to the stock batteries. I am just speaking from the knowledge learned in reference to electrical system we are putting in our overlanding/overglamping trailer.
However for the traditional aux I really would recommend just getting a redarc bcdc charge controller. Then you have zero doubts that it is charging quickly, properly, and you can very easily add in solar panels or later down the road their battery management system(red vision). Those aussie's know a thing or 2 about overlanding/going out into the bush.

If you are speaking of the factory mini onboard aux battery, I cant help you out. However if you are speaking of a more traditional use case aux battery, it is really hard to beat Lithium/LiFePO4. Actually you can't, currently. While an AGM or LA may quote the same AH, they 100% do not have the same usable energy as the equivalent sized lithium. Yes, lithium's are substantially more expensive. However they have much more usable energy(per given AH rating), can charge and discharge quicker, are substantially lighter, and have quite a bit longer lifespan. So, for me at least, its a buy once cry once scenario. I'd rather spend 1k on a single, much lighter, battery that performs equivalent to 2 250 dollar, much heavier, batteries that last about half as long.

Having lived in this extreme desert heat for many many years all my past vehicles (non diesel) car and truck batteries including numerous work truck batteries never seem last longer than 3 years. I would gladly pay more for the battery you are speaking of if I could expect to get a longer life out of it. Can I expect a longer life with the Lithium/LiFePO4 even with this extreme heat or should I stick to my standard heavyweight cheap batteries the past.

You can jump start the aux battery with the main battery. Nena Barlow did a short video on it. It usually starts it long enough for you to get off the road and to somewhere safe before the entire computer stops your ability to shift (which is common).



My aux battery crapped out in the middle of a multi day competition, to the point of no return.

I learned the following in my high school chemistry class:

Caution: Don't attach the negative cable to the negative terminal of the weak battery when jumping a car battery! This common mistake could ignite hydrogen gas directly over the battery. Battery explosions can cause serious injury.

Good to know, but bad to see that these videos can cause risk of injury!

I'm not interested in overlanding in my JLR. Just a better plug and play battery than stock.
