I have seen the issue first hand with a friend. We needed to really push the fuses down 1 by 1 with a torque bit or something tougher than our fingers to get them seated (Especially the smaller ones). Seems to have fixed some of the gremlins.

I had a similar issue when navigating a long and steep shelf road early on in my ownership. However, it happened when I wasn't using off road plus and was trying to manually disengage the ESC. I had a hard time navigating the obstacles and received the power steering overheating message...
As PSA to people looking at their fuses, I'd recommend using something to really push down on the smaller ones. In all there were ~ 15 or so fuses that were not seated properly.
Well, the fuse issue struck! We found a bunch of the main fuses unseated. Once we pressed them in firmly no more CEL, and it drives fine. Note, we had checked the fuses before but hadn't really pressed hard enough to realize several of them were not in completely.
You can jump start the aux battery with the main battery. Nena Barlow did a short video on it. It usually starts it long enough for you to get off the road and to somewhere safe before the entire computer stops your ability to shift (which is common).
