My main goals are:
I only need a hauler, not a kitchen, bath, sink, toilet...
We all have budgets, so cost IS a factor.
Water resistance, waterproof cover is important.
USED is Ok with me.
Turnkey might be important because I do not have the wherewithal to weld.
Needs to be able to traverse milder trails such as "Fins", but probably not any more extreme.
Timeframe to purchase is within the next 12 months.
Willing and able to travel to pick it up.

If you have any personal experience with any of these or another very similar, chime in!

TIA

We have a To Extreme. Very well built and they've tested it on the Rubicon Trail. The Max Coupler hitch that it has is significantly better than a Lock N Roll.

The only issue is that some of the paint is flaking.

We're mostly camping in a tent / hammock now, so we'll most likely sell it this year.

Thanks for the input on the coupler! Like you, I either ground tent or hammock. I can understand the paint chipping.

OP, just get something along the lines of this -- military surplus Schutt M1102. The bids for this particular model typically don't go over $1500. From there you can build it to your liking.

That's what I'd go with for a trailer; battle-tested tried & true. All of these gucci trailer companies are straight up robbing people IMO. Most are not nearly as rugged, and literally 7 times the price -- or greater..

Personally, I'm still debating if I want to go the route of a trailer or exoskeleton RTT.

EDIT: price correction

Not sure what your budget looks like.

After visiting their factory and seeing these in person I'll be ordering one in a couple of weeks. Their build quality and versatility is what sold me:

Good luck in your search.
