The tazer does disable auto-park (that and the turn signal activating the rear camera are why I ordered the Tazer.)yea how to disable the auto-park too? :D

I can’t disagree but, for what it’s worth, there are a bunch of other stupid built-in features the Tazer can help with, so at least you’ll get slightly better bang for your idiot-feature-elimination buck.… Even more absurd is to spend $350 on a piece of hardware that will be used once to correct a stupid feature they put on it.
I don’t have remote start on my jeep, unfortunately, so on cold mornings I will go out and start the jeep in my driveway. I live in a neighborhood so I don’t want to just leave the keys in it for anyone that may want to drive away with it, but hate it honking 3 times when I go to close it up and lock with the key fob. I know my neighbors would love it if I could stop this from happening at 6am! Anyone know of a way to stop this, besides don’t do it or leave the keys on it?!?
Lol, if it's -40, I'll be sure to remember that some dude from California says I shouldn't warm up my vehicle with the Cold Weather package and factory installed remote start.why are you starting it before you're ready to drive, and leaving it running?
not sure which engine you're dealing with, but leaving a motor running when cold can be harmful for it, and it warms up faster if you're driving it gently anyway.
Pretty sure Taser removed that functionality a while ago. If you still have it, it's because you've never updated the firmware. The tazer does disable auto-park (that and the turn signal activating the rear camera are why I ordered the Tazer.)
Mainly just to defrost the windshield for a couple of minutes while I finish up taking care of my dog. I leave it running for about 5 minutes and we don’t get enough frost to where I ever have to scrape. This is the first that I’ve ever hear NOT to warm up a cold engine…why are you starting it before you're ready to drive, and leaving it running?

Sweet, I was going to try to send them a message today asking about that.@driventoadventure
Yes, Joe at ZAutomotive was thrilled to once again be able to get the TAZER JL to be able to disable "auto park". Joe let me know in a text, soon after he got-er done...
Early on the Tazer JL could disable auto park and then Stellantis pushed an update and thanks to that update, the Tazer JL could no longer disable auto park. Joe and tried to again defeat auto park but always struck out unit recently....
So, yes those wanting to defeat auto park, do update your Tazer JL's to the newest firmware, 11.4.1 - 111422.

Warming up a vehicle for a few minutes is absolutely fine. Source? Canadian lol.

My manual talks about remote starting up to 2 times for 15 min each. Guess the engineers don't know what they're talking about."some dude(s) from <fillin the blank>" have also been a few other places (including Alberta when it's -46).
source?
RTFM.
