Good video. I went to OMF website and there must be a lot of us trying to access it because it crashes when going to the truck/Jeep link. Depending the cost, they may need to upgrade their website because I foresee a jump in traffic and sales. Surprised it took this long for someone to bring this to market.

OMF has been making a non-beadlock wheel into a beadlock wheel for a while now. Not all wheels can have this done on them. I had a friend who was a magazine editor back in the day when they had magazines, who was contacted by OMF to do this on his wheels in exchange for a magazine write up. He had them done and thought the quality of workmanship was excellent. If he had been paying for it the cost would have been higher to convert his wheels to beadlocks than it would have been to buy beadlock wheels.

The factory beadlock capable wheels are, well, beadlock capable. Does OMF just sell the beadlock ring in this case?

Finally got to look cool at the mall with the new beadlocks
That mall looks like it’s been abandoned for little a while. The ground looks very uneven and lots of moss on the rocks in parking lot there. Your jeep makes that mall parking lot look like light work!!

I'm glad someone is making these. Still kind of pricey for what they are. I don't understand why Mopar gave us beauty rings when they could have just put the correct ones on there.

really?

they know they're dealing with a majority of customers that can't even keep their tire pressure up.
-beadlock wheels may not be legal in some states
-beadlocks require special mounting procedures that most shops won't do
-beadlocks benefit from routine maintenance that most people have never heard of

what's "correct" isn't the same for everyone.

the cheapest tires ever, and you didn't do all 5?
I have two sets of wheels and tires. The factory 35 inch tires and wheels for street use and these 37s for off-road use. I had found a 37 inch K02 to use as a spare for free so I wasn't that interested in buying a 5th since they are only on for off-road if that makes sense.

true bead lock rings weigh considerably more and are more expensive to manufacture than protection rings..there was some company at one time that made some type of polymer material protection rings which was not a bad idea. light easy replaceable and keeps your wheels from getting chewed up. Not they would take a ton of abuse but for the casual offroader would work.

i guess what makes sense to me is to have a spare at least as good as what got me into whatever i got into, in order to increase the odds of me getting out of whatever i got into.
