The AEV Borah are the correct pattern and backspacing. AEV somewhat specializes their wheels to each vehicle. The Borah was made for the JK which has been determined will also work on a JL with no issue. You’ll just need the newer/correct sized lug nuts used on the JL
Thanks! Thought I'd be ok just wanted to confirm with someone smarter myself...

When dealers put on custom wheels, what happens to the stock ones? They just add it to their parts dept inventory? Because I would love to order black wheels instead. I guess it depends on the dealer. answeredmyownquestion

I'm considering getting method 105 beadlocks on my JL. They are semi affordable, and from my past experience with Method they make great wheels. My only concern is with the 3.5" backspacing... That would make them 2.5" further out than the mopar beadlocks.

Out of curiosity - Those who run Beadlocks, do you get them balanced as a normal wheel or are you throwing dynabeads in them?

I always had them balanced like you would a normal wheel. If you offroad a lot, and can get them to sell you a lifetime balance it's well worth it(Chunks taken out of tires, damage to wheels etc obviously throw them out of balance.)

Running the Method Race Wheels 105 Beadlocks on our F-150 build. +1 for this setup

I'm sure they will have JL-specific options soon enough

The Method Race Wheels 106's are probably what we will run on our JL (when/if we get one!). I saw them at the PRI show and immediately fell in love with them.

Sounds like they are moving extremely well too, because their entire first production run has already been sold.

Which color option are you going to end up with? How did you like the bronze in person? Did they happen to display a weight? I know their other beadlocks are fairly light compared to others.

I did a quick photoshop job to see what they would look like(Crappy job, but just wanted an idea.) I hope @Vector Offroad doesn't mind me using their Jeep as a sample. I couldn't find a white JL at that angle with similar offset wheels...

I was told that the Mopar Beadlocks need spacers on the JL.. is that true?

I would like to know this as well. I am scheduled for the Mopar 2" lift, and Mopar Beadlocks with 35X12.50's next week. Will the Mopar 2" lift not work in conjunction with the Beadlock wheels without a spacer? This could be a big problem for me as the dealer is powder coating the Bead ring as we speak.

Looking for this setup as well. Waiting for the right configuration when available.

Jeep Wrangler JL Beadlock Wheels JL-on-37s

We just put on a set of 37" Patagonia M/Ts on KMC XD231 Beadlocks our Red Rocket Rubicon JLU with NO LIFT.

Edit**** Wrong side of the tape measure... LoL****
The XD231 beadlocks have an "official" backspace of 4-3/4", I measured these out at 4-5/8".
***Edit***

They clear when steering lock to lock, nothing close enough to worry about. 35s would be even better.

There's a lot of bumping and rubbing just driving on the street, so you definitely need a lift to run 37s on the street or trail, but as far as steering is concerned, no issues with the 37s on these KMC beadlocks with the 4-3/4.

Vids and more pics to come on a Northridge4x4 post.

Looks great, even without the lift.
I have a set of KMC XD229 Beadlocks coming today with the same backspace. Would you mind taking a picture from the front? I don't have my JL yet, just curious how far they stick out past the fenders

Thanks!
