Hi folks. I'm new to the world of beadlocks but want to install them on my new 392. I'll be mounting 37s on them, and I need something with 4.75" backspacing to work with my lift. I'm looking for recommendations for high-quality manufacturers to start my shopping. Thanks!

Your wheels are already beadlock wheels, just get the rings. I'm also pretty sure those are 4.5" backspacing (someone please correct me on this if I'm wrong).

EDIT: read conflicting posts, some say the wheels are closer to 5" backspacing so I'm probably wrong.

Any thoughts or reviews on the quality of the OEM wheels versus an aftermarket beadlock wheel?

Based off the rigorous testing and SAE standards oem wheels have to meet for strength and safety, I would trust them over any equivalent aluminum aftermarket wheel.

I don't think I've ever seen a post here equivalent to "I blew out the hub on my oem wheel".

That said I'm not sure I've heard of anyone running the oem wheels as beadlocks, though I'm sure many have.

I know him, he is a RACER has 30+ won the Baja 1000 9 times! I run his wheels and did for 9 years never an issue of any kind. It was me that asked to sell his wheels to the Jeep guys, if you do let me know and I will buy set, he called and said we Jeep wheels and I sent him a check.

Pretty much all the cast wheels (including OEM) are Chinese. If you want the best bead locks, gets Hitchinson Rock Monsters, but they are around $850 each. Even Expensive wheels like AEV Borah's are Chinese.

The XR wheels are made in mexico.

In addition I think the rest of the oem wheels for jeep are made by detroit wheel and tire in troy michigan. I could be wrong on that one, but I thought they were the oem supplier.

I don’t run their beadlocks, but I’ve been happy with our experience with Raceline. They’re also active in the Jeep community, and (as far as I know) haven't been bought by wheel pros yet.

@GATORB8 Wheel Pros does have a monopoly on many wheel manufacturers. @Shoebox303 had you thought of Icon Rebound Pros? One of the few bead lock wheels that can be serviced by Discount Tire Co. You will find that a lot of true bead locks are not serviced by tire retailers, but the Icon can be.

I love my dirty life’s, I typically run 7-8psi off roading. I’ve been running the race rings about 5 months, huge difference in traction between 13psi without them and 7psi with them.
