Hi folks. I'm new to the world of beadlocks but want to install them on my new 392. I'll be mounting 37s on them, and I need something with 4.75" backspacing to work with my lift. I'm looking for recommendations for high-quality manufacturers to start my shopping. Thanks!
Great information here, folks. Thank you! A couple more details about my plan:
I'm installing KC Flex Era 3 Dual amber fog lights, KC Gravity LED Pro6 amber front bumper lights, and then 2 KC Cyclone V2 LED amber "chase lights" on the rear of my Jeep. My idea here is to activate the rear lights...
Let’s just say, for the sake of argument, that I have two lightbulbs.
One of them I install outside my jeep, and one of them I install inside my jeep. I want both of them to operate off of the same Jeep AUX switch - let’s say AUX 1.
Can I wire the exterior lightbulb to the AUX 1 wire by the...
This is how I'm hoping to operate these lights, so I want to make sure I understand. The way you wired them, the lights work in "low" mode whenever the fog lights are active, and when you hit the AUX button, they switch to "high" mode. Is that right? No need to use the provided KC switch?
Anyone have pics of KC Gravity LED Pro6 lights installed on a JL steel bumper? I'm considering this setup and just want to get a feel for how they'll look installed on that bumper. Thanks.
It sounds like, if I'm correct (and aside from the HP and Torque, of course), there is not a significant offroad capability difference between the 392 and the Rubicon X. Both get the new rear axle. Both get a slight lift and 35" tires. Pretty close to the same Jeep except for the engine...
Yeah, I hear ya. I just sold my 2021 Rubicon with the 2.0 (the one in my profile pic) in preparation for the 2024 order, and I think I probably had a true average of around 15 or so over 25k miles. Of course, I had 37s and a lead foot… 😬
i took those from the “official” Jeep rating just to try...
I'm looking at ordering one of these for 2024. I wheel my jeeps, and I'm trying to decide if the 392 cost is worth it. Am I missing anything significant here?
I appreciate that! I think there are 4 in Alabama, too, but that’s a bit out of my travel radius. Hoping for NM, TX, CO, or OK. Thanks for the heads up, though.
Hey folks! I'm after 4 OEM half-doors in Sarge Green for my JLU and 2 in Bright White for my JL.
I can throw full doors in perfect condition into a deal if someone wants to swap.
I live in Amarillo, Texas but can travel. Thanks!
I think this is what I'm going to do. Unfortunately, I live in Amarillo, TX, where the market is very small. I'll probably need to keep an eye on DFW and Oklahoma City.
I'm after 4 in Sarge Green for my JLU and 2 in Bright White for my JL. Y'all holler if you see them! Thanks to everyone for...
Great ideas. Finding them locally is probably the best idea and hardest part. Shipping 4 doors across the country these days would probably cost me $1k, not to mention the likelihood of damage.
