@Tredsdert is calling them today just to double check that the trails aren't a slip and slide. I think they'll be fine based on how Tyler looked when i was there over the weekend.

I literally just got off the phone with the lady over at the office at Barnwell, she said they do in fact have 2026 OHV stickers available at the office for $17 each. You can pay with card if this is your first time buying one.
Also I asked her about the trails and she said she went out yesterday and the The trails are dry, with a few puddles, which is not that different from the last time I went with @BDinTX . I also asked her what the outlook for the weekend is weather wise (If you weren't aware, most off-road parks and off-road areas you go to, it's part of the business to know what the outlook for the weather is. So asking something like that is never a bad idea. They want customers, so giving you a good idea of what you're getting yourself into is part of theirs.) Regardless she did say it's looking partially cloudy and cooler tomorrow, but as of right now she said no chance of rain in Gilmer.
I never know who to trust nowadays, when it comes to weather forecast. Honestly when I head out, if it's cloudy and looks like it's going to rain I just go prepared in case it does. But yeah, that's the problem with weather is everyone has a different idea of what's going to happen, and you never really know who to believe until it's happening..

PS - I'm not going to be able to make it. My wife works in a CPA office and October is just as bad as April is for them. All the Corporations and Companies taxes are due in October. She's been working a bunch and she wants to just go away for a few days. I'm the driver for this trip.

As for me, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to make it tomorrow. We had a emergency ER visit for our dog on Wednesday night. Severe jaundice, and they recommended the specialist. We were able to get her into the specialist yesterday, and today she has been having a liver biopsy to see if she was going to make it through the weekend (basically). So the good thing is that the identify the issue being the gallbladder, so they remove the gallbladder, and put in a gallbladder stint. She's going to be okay, but we are going to be able to visit her until tomorrow night. So I'll be leaving tomorrow around 2:00, the same time as @Tread4Lo so that I can make the 2-hour drive home to Anna, before we have to drive into Dallas to see my sweet little doggy.
Also I'm currently a little more than $10,000 in the hole, so I can't break anything tomorrow or my wife's never going to forgive me!
If you guys want to help me out, I'll be on the corner of Spring Valley and Dallas North, over by Al Biernat's North every night this week except for tonight, trying to make that money back!
