Hello Jeep Community,

Looking for some assistance here. This year our family moved from the midwest to Colorado so now we have near immediate access to many of the badge of honor trails in our 2018 JLUR. We kicked off our adventure in May at Moab and Fins & Things where I made sure to check in on the badge of honor app. Then, four weeks later, we hit up Imogene Pass in Ouray where I checked in again.

We received our hard badge in the mail for Imogene really fast, but 5 months later and we still have not received one for Fins & Things. I have sent 10-12 emails to the Badge of Honor support team but all have gone unanswered.

Can anyone recommend the best way to go about receiving my hard badge for Fins?

Much appreciated!

I think you can check in the app as to the status of the badge. Whether it has shipped, been delivered, etc.

I feel your pain. Waiting on 7 badges that I don’t think I will ever receive. I’ve tried reaching out to Jeep customer care but that didn’t get me anywhere :) I think it is all luck and many have the same issue of not receiving them. Can always go to eBay if you really want one!

I’m in the same boat, except I moved. I completed Hidden Falls in April, and Drummond Island in June, and shipped both to Dallas, TX.

Neither have even started shipping, but I have since moved to metro Detroit, MI and will probably miss out on both badges. I can’t get a response either.

I just did my first BOH trail and almost missed the fact that, after you check in, you also have to take steps in the app to request the badge.

Do you recall if you requested it on the first trail? Also, shocker is correct, the BOH does let you check the status of the request.

Some badges take longer and are backordered. Jeep doesn't actually oversee the process, they contract it out to a third party. I am still waiting on a Hidden Falls TX badge since April of this year. I did Imogene, Engineer and Ophir Passes in late September and received those badges about 3 weeks later. It's a crapshoot at this point as to what you'll receive when.

Thanks for the info. Yes I did request both hard badges in the app at the time of my trail runs.
Here are screenshots for the app…

Unfortunately the Jeep BoH program is garbage. There’s zero communication- you can email them regarding missing badges but I seriously doubt that it’s even seen by a human. No email address that gets any reply, no telephone number, no recourse for any issues whatsoever. And there will be issues. Sometimes you get your badge in a timely manner, sometimes you never get them. Jeep has nothing to do with it and can’t help you. It’s really a shame that the brand’s name is on this dumpster fire of a program because I don’t know of any owner that’s satisfied with it.

I did Turkey Bay in KY in March - no badge. The guy a few posts back who got his in a few weeks? I ran all 5 San Juan mountains trails on Labor Day and have nothing. Nor do I expect to ever see them.

I agree with everyone above! August 2022...did Black Bear (awesome), Ophir, Poughkeepsie (spelling?)...went with two of my buds....they got their badges very quickly and I have not seen even one badge as of yet. I would think JEEP would take some interest in this program and the trouble so many are having obtaining badges, as it is obviously leaving members ticked off at the lack of response, program issues, and general "oh well, so sad to bad!" attitude we all have received. I'm done with it. I remain disappointed and the mission now is to spread the word as to what a farce this program has become. To bad there is nothing which can be done to hit JEEP in the pocket as the loss of revenue is ALWAYS an attention getter.

My wife and I completed the Tread Lightly Trail outside of Ocala, FL back in May and waited until the first of September before we received what should have been our badge. However, they shipped up a packing slip inside an envelope, with no badge included. I have tried reaching out but have not been able to get a response. Any help would be appreciated.

I ran Rocky Gap in June and just got my badge a few days ago. ~ 6 months for that one.

After running the above trail, I ran Gold Mtn a week or so later. Got that badge within a month.

Agree, this program needs help. I just posted on my thread that after waiting almost 10 months the status went from requested to backordered. Hopefully the problem is that Jeep is looking at outsourcing to different company. We can hope and then maybe there would be an improvement.

Wanted to post an update. Earlier this week I received one of three badges I had submitted back in August. After receiving I checked my acct to see the missing badges now show backordered rather than submitted. So there is light at the end of the tunnel...however dim and distant it may appear!
It's a great program it's just a damn shame you have to wait so long to receive a badge which tends to suck all the fun out of it!
