You’re out of your f*ing mind if you think that qualifies.Figured id chime in. Ive had multiple hub Bearing failures
1st time 20,xxxx miles
2nd time 70,xxx miles
3rd time 100,xxxx miles.
Currently speaking to a lawyer about lemon lawing the jeep.
Normally I'd agree but he's the guy who has had 3 driver's side bearing fail but is still on the original passenger side. Something must be misaligned in that axle. I'd think they'd just replace the front axle instead of a Jeep though. You’re out of your f*ing mind if you think that qualifies.
They don’t have to do anything, he’s at 100k miles.Normally I'd agree but he's the guy who has had 3 driver's side bearing fail but is still on the original passenger side. Something must be misaligned in that axle. I'd think they'd just replace the front axle instead of a Jeep though.
Warranties have expiration points for a reason. Eventually you wear things out and tear things up and it’s on the owner.Well of course, but I just assumed it's some sort of goodwill program. Because it seems obvious something was defective with the axle.
Never mind, he's in California. There's no mileage or time period limit on the lemon law there. Since FCA first attempted the repair within the warranty period, it's probably covered. Of course if they were smart, Jeep would have replaced the axle instead of repeatedly replacing hub bearings.Warranties have expiration points for a reason. It was repaired and complied with applicable warranty.Never mind, he's in California. There's no mileage or time period limit on the lemon law there. If someone wears out three driver's side hub bearings but 0 passenger side bearings, the problem isn't the hub bearing. So it hasn't been repaired. They've thrown parts at it, that's all.It was repaired and complied with applicable warranty.
if you drive 50,000 miles without a repeat failure, it’s fixed. If someone wears out three driver's side hub bearings but 0 passenger side bearings, the problem isn't the hub bearing. So it hasn't been repaired. They've thrown parts at it, that's all.
Exactly!!If someone wears out three driver's side hub bearings but 0 passenger side bearings, the problem isn't the hub bearing. So it hasn't been repaired. They've thrown parts at it, that's all.
Your dealer is doing you a major solid then. Why don’t you just fix your Jeep?Yeah because it happened under the basic warranty it has been covered every time it failed.
My dealer is actually the one that recommended i contact an attorney.
