While I haven't done this to my Jeep, I've used this method on my 3/4 ton Dodge. Works like a charm.Looks like you got this taken care of, but if others see this the easiest/quickest solution is to put a socket extension or large enough socket between the knuckle and hub then turn the wheel. I had this same issue and they popped loose no problem as I turned the wheel. Couldn’t believe how simple it is. Here’s a pic of where to place it…

Funny enough I think I found the idea on a Dodge forum. Won't have to do this trick though next time I need to get the hub off...While I haven't done this to my Jeep, I've used this method on my 3/4 ton Dodge. Works like a charm.
Was surprised it took so long for someone to suggest it.
