I understand your perspective because on one hand, 50,000 miles is a lot. But if his Jeep is still toasting bearings on only one side, there's clearly still an unfixed defect that existed within the warranty period. Individual bearings may last long enough, but there's still a problem with the axle.if you drive 50,000 miles without a repeat failure, it’s fixed.
I agree theres something wrong with the geometry of the axle. The bearing itself might offer cluesNormally I'd agree but he's the guy who has had 3 driver's side bearing fail but is still on the original passenger side. Something must be misaligned in that axle. I'd think they'd just replace the front axle instead of a Jeep though.
