Backup camera and tires

So I got new 35x12.5x17 tires for my 2022 JLU Sahara 4xe. The look awesome but my backup signal goes off because it thinks the new spare tire is an obstacle. I do not believe this is because of the sensors on the bumper. The tire isn’t near them but I do believe it has to do with the backup camera. Now I know people are going to argue that it is the sensors but I really think it is the camera.
The easy solution is to buy a spare tire mounting adjustment kit but I think I should be able to adjust the camera somehow (maybe a tazer or some other programmer).

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this one?

FWIW— installed 35/12.50’s on stock 392 rims and Teraflex relocation brackets (raised tire 2”) no sensor-camera issues. Possibly your wider rim with the camera set deeper and is seeing the rim?

The tire size in the original post seems off. Is it 35x12.5x17? Also, it's the sensor, not the camera.

Sensor or camera issue is really moot. Just get the relocation kit and problem solved. I used the Teraflex Alpha HD without the hinges and it solved the problem.

The camera is part of the back up sensor as well.

This is going to sound odd, but rotate your spare and move the valve 180° and test. It makes a difference.
