The backup camera on my Jeep Rubicon 2018 JL , while working fine, is not displaying the guide lines. It had been working, but now, no lines to show distances. I checked the backup camera settings, and it seems to be ok. Anyone else having the same problem or know how to trouble shoot? Thanks

It's a known issue. And when the hell did Brisbane move from Australia to California? ;)

I have that issue randomly as well. It seems like it corrects itself. I never figured out how to actually fix it. Just randomly fixes itself after a bit.

I've had my new Wrangler for less than a week and I have this same issue with the backup camera; sometimes the yellow guide lines appear, other times not. Can't find anything in the settings to address this.

On my 2nd 8.4 radio with the same intermittent issue. One thing I noticed is that it seems to happen more frequently if I shit into R way too quickly after starting the Jeep. Maybe something isn't finished loading in the software when the camera kicks in.

I have this intermittent issue also with the lines going away. I notice it more in the winter when it’s cold and left out in the snow or rain. Another thread said it may be issue with the cable harness going to the camera. Several folks mentioned they had the dealer replace it under warranty and it resolved the issue
