I have found that removing the drain plugs when there's no imminent threat of deluge can be problematic. Went off-roading once and forgot to put them back in, so of course I was getting muddy water coming through the floor.

I agree for the amount of money we are probably going to be spending there should be power seats and a whole lot more. Other than the newer interior and lighter body materials the Wrangler is still fairly primitive (Which is why I love them.) It's just sad that we are going to pay such a premium for things I could really care less about, and due to the fact that nothing really competes with it so people are willing to pay that premium.

Doorless with Safari top on TJ parked in the parking lot during a 20min downpour. It was the first time I had to fish around under carpets for drain plugs.

Yeah the pic is at the bottom of Black Bear Pass, Colorado. Great day, snowed on us at the summit, we had the trail to ourselves all day...

I love spots like that, especially for a nice picnic near the base with feet dangling in the resultant river.

We have Takakkaw falls nearby in YoHo (along with many more of course in the area), and it looks very similar, but you can’t park anywhere near that close.

That's beautiful. I really wish we had scenery like that near Houston.

Yeah, LOVE living near many of our major parks.

That pic isn’t mine, most of mine are GIFs and Videos, with my pics from an era with lower resolution (ie just like 5 years ago :camera: :cwl: ) , but it does convey the specialness of the area where you can litterally plunk down in the middle of the stram for a bit/bite of lunch.

Getting out to places like these are the other half of the equation that equals Wrangler for me. :like:

PS, OP, sorry for the temporary thread-jack.
