AUX butt connector?

Let me start off by saying I'm not real comfortable in the electro world. Would it be advantageous to wire butt connectors(or their equivalent) to the AUX wires?

My thought is if you want add/delete accessories without chopping down the factory wires each time.

Take a look at bullet connectors. You can wire those once on the Aux wires, keep them isolated when unused though. Then you should be able to swap items as needed fairly easily.
