Here is our issue. I am wondering if anyone else has had this or has any suggestions. We custom ordered an 80th anniversary JLU and picked it up about a month ago. We included virtually every option except the tow group on the order. This includes the advanced safety group which as the jeep website lists, should include automatic high beams. The advanced safety group was listed on the order sheet and the sticker. The new Jeep has the adaptive cruise feature from that group but does not have the automatic high beams. When we go to the page on the console to enable this feature, it is not listed.
We have had the jeep into the jeep service dept. that confirms that the jeep was not built with it and it was not listed on the build sheet.
We have talked to our sales guy who has supposedly passed along our concerns to the manager and we are patiently waiting to hear back from them. It has been a few weeks but with holidays, we are giving them the benefit of the doubt.
I also called Jeep Cares but they didn't seem to have much interest in our problem.
I have suggested to the dealership that this needs to be added to the jeep as it was ordered or the cost of the advanced safety group refunded. Still waiting for a response though.
Has anyone had this missing on their build?
Is it something that can be added or are the sensors included on the jeep and it just needs to be turned on somehow by the service dept?
Any help or insight would be appreciated.

That is where I started, but the option to activate them is not listed on our Jeep. The dealership has confirmed that the jeep was not built with that option even though it was ordered.
This brings us to our problem?

Where is the copy of the build sheet that you signed? Is it specifically stated there? Jeep has a particulary confusing way of naming and packaging their vehicles.

That is the interesting thing we are learning. When we ordered the jeep, we certainly signed the order sheet which lists each added package and its price, and the advanced safety group was included.
However, the order does not list a breakdown of what is actually included in each option package.

The "Build a Jeep" option on the website shows that breakdown which includes the auto high beams in the advanced safety group.

We didn't actually get a build sheet until it was built, well into the process.

Based on the stories shared on here about dealership customer service (as whole), you’re going to have to ride your dealership for them to do anything quickly or take you seriously. Customer advocacy isn’t a high priority for some dealerships.

Until your dealership responds to you it’s hard to know where to go from here. It could be as simple as having them unlock the feature through a software update (just throwing out ideas, I have no idea if that’s possible). If they can’t add the feature to your Jeep for some reason, I would certainly be requesting some form of compensation.

The holidays are now over, along with the season of cheer and all that.

Chances are the dealer is now hoping you forgot all about it and won’t hear from you again.

As suggested above, I’d be polite but firm. You will need to stay on them if you want a resolution.

Good luck.
