If you watch the installation video, the last step to take is to attach two wires to the wiring harness that goes to the door. In the video, they connect the wires after the quick disconnect, thus making it impossible to remove the door. He is saying to take those wires and tap into the wiring harness in front or before the quick disconnect. Does that make sense?
Absolutely! didn't pick up on that on the first watch

So you modded your windows to auto up and you didn't do a write-up or post any pics of the mod?

You should be clubbed like a seal and left on the ice to suffer.
WOW. That escalated quickly. LOL, thanks for the laugh!

I just read this post start to finish.............I'm exhausted.....lol.

My two cents.......I hate the windows in my Jeep...have since day one. I'm all for safety and even more for common sense. When I'm driving 80 mph down the freeway ...I'm concentrating on keeping my Jeep in the lane.....not on reaching over to hold a button to roll up windows.
In the time I am distracted doing that....i could have drifted into another lane....and for any haters out there....hold you comments. These things don't exactly provide the "road feel" of an all wheel drive vehicle and if I ever do put a dog or child in my back seat....which is not very likely...I will lock the window controls.

My question is..........for the people who bought this contraption.....does it still work years later? I'm thinking since it's still for sale on ebay....it must. The one from Amazon is long gone. The thread implied this one is basically the same product? Anyway....I'm just trying to protect my dollars since I just got scammed but some lady selling "grinch ducks" on Facebook this week....lol. Any reason I shouldn't risk my money?

Last question...........the features with the fob are cool but does each window button have auto up and down? that 's all i need out of it.

Please advise........

Yes mine still works. It works for all windows but only from the front switch.

I use the remote open and close more than i thought i would.

the person on ebay did a great job of helping you get the right one.

I assume the Ebay one is just like the old Amazon one from 3w - here

I installed mine in 2021 and no issues. But then again, I noticed my Alien sunshade was purchased in May 2019 and it's still in good shape and none of the bungees have broken yet.

thanks grayhound for the reply.......

I am assuming you mean the switches on the back of the floor console do not work for auto up/down? or did you mean something else?

I still don't have a clear answer (probably due to my wording) but......does each front console switch operate as normal, but how has auto up/down? That's the part i need to know.

there are 3 versions of this thing on Ebay. 1 of them for the Hybrid. I cannot tell the difference in the other 2. The seller told me to order item 374441005307, but seems I always have interpretation issues with replies from China, If you have a 4 door JLU, do you know which one you ordered?

thanks.........

Our jeeps come with way too much air in the tires for my liking; have you tried airing down your tires a little?

yeah....the recommended pressure is 37 for mine and you get a low pressure warning around 32.
I run mine at about 32 and ignore the warning.

It's the nature of the beast for a live front axle to kinda wander. I just don't like the "light" steering it has so my next step is to replace the factory steering stabilizer with the AEV one. I'm hoping it will provide a "heavier" feel when driving at highway speeds.......

Yes the switches in front work as normal or with a long press auto up/dwn.

Back switches do not change and work as normal. I don't remember which was ordered. I followed ebay guys advise and it worked as advertised.

interesting, so I’ll watch.

could be an interesting project for a completely noob to electrical stuff like me :)

FWIW instructions seem legit enough for what aftermarket mostly looks like…

https://www.tury.com.br/doc/en/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/INSTALLATION-GUIDE-PRO-4.39-LONG-AE.pdf

I watched the video and read thru the installation instructions and I would have to say I like this product better than the one I installed. The product I installed has no connection to the rear window switches. It also acts a bit different than I expected.....but it does provide auto up/down capability from each respective front window switch and it does roll up all 4 windows from the remote if you command it to. All and all it's far better than trying to manipulate the window switches while driving 80 mph down the interstate.......:). The guy in the video mentioned he sells the product in the video for $300. Mine was $95......so I'm happy with the one I got.......:)
