Sorry, inside joke, his account got reset a week ago.
Glad to hear that, I was like “Damn dude that’s harsh on a new member. When did @GATORB8 become a hater?”? luckily I’m just out of the loop

Yeah, I thought I had caught @jimcoffey62 fast enough to get a chuckle. I should have said "someone with a build thread" (all his old posts and threads are missing, including that). I had the tongue out emoji at the end but it didn't convert.

Ya, just now seeing this. It really sucks that the sysadmin deleted all my threads. I was using my build thread as on ongoing diary of what I've done, what worked, what didn't, and why.

I had multiple threads where I used my expertise in plastics and adhesives to try to help folks out.

What sucks more is that the sysadmin hasn't bothered to explain what happened.
Did I violate a rule?
Was it just an accident?

ah well. You get what you pay for apparently.

Cheers.

Gonna bump this thread as it had some good options while I was looking more ideas. And to see if there is anything new out there for people to share.

My other attic storage
Hooke Road Rear Overhead MOLLE Panel
Only I dropped it 1in. and added a hinge to one side and nobs to the other side

attic storage (2).jpg
Looks clean and probably works well but I can hear everything rattling from here.

I really like the idea of this and I haven't seen anything like it before but I have yet to pull the trigger: https://a.co/d/03joPbrl

I just installed that same brand's adjustable cargo rack and I have to say it's pretty solid. I like that it works as a traditional cargo rack and adjusts up to an attic shelf.

Nice! Yea I actually pulled the trigger on the same rear cargo. Unfortunately have to modify it a little so it’ll work with the 2024 and up.

Weird haven’t that attic storage in that link. Didn’t show on their website too.

BTW their rear window storage panel deal on their website is a scam. They slashed the price to make it look like you are getting both the driver and passenger panels but the sale price is for 1 side.

Yeah I think there was a reviewer on Amazon who installed it on a 24 and shared some insight on their slight modifications for fitment. On my 21 install was pretty much a breeze. Worst part is just trying to adjust the rack up and down because it's so stiff. I basically had to do a leg press just to get it in the up position.

Yeah that attic storage popped up randomly on Amazon and it doesn't seem like there's any reviews or anything. But I like the concept.

I bought the rear window panel knowing it was only one but it was 17 bucks so I was fine with that. I knew I needed to relocate my fire extinguisher with the rack taking up the roll bars.

I have this from Molle Platform Solutions over the rear seat area. I removed the seats and added Cargo Dog Storage. I have Maxtrax mounts on the underside of the rack. With a mesh sunshade the amount you can store in the tray is somewhat limited, It attaches to the roll bar with Velcro straps. I just unhooked the sun shade bungie for the pic. I keep a ground tarp and a Slumberjack shade tarp that mounts to the rear of the Jeep on top of the rack.
