So...the new Joose Rubicon X...already in for service with 409 miles on it. I realized the assist was dialing but not connecting. Dealer had to open a STAR case on it. Here's what they've said so far:
"I wanted to give you an update. At this time the STAR engineering team is having us test several wires and checking for pin fitments. We will be working on that and seeing if it resolves the issue. I should have some further information on it this afternoon and will let you know as soon as I know! Otherwise we got the receipt for the uber and will be getting that with my management team so see what we can do for you"
"...just wanted to update you. We are having to go back and forth with The STAR engineering team at this time. It is definitely an odd situation but we want to definitely get it right for you. I appreciate your patience in letting us get this handled and I will be keeping you in the loop along the way."
"...it is hard to say if the entire wiring harness is faulty or if it is something internal with either the radio itself. With new vehicles like these with these kind of issues we do have to per policy get approval for repairs through the STAR Engineering team. I know you are disappointed with having these issues on such a brand new car, however we can not open a case with Chrysler customer care on your behalf, but you would have to reach out to them directly as you are the owner of the vehicle."
Love the Jeep. Not happy Stellantis can't build a $74k car w/o issues out of the gate. :-I
