I just got my brand new 2024 Jeep Wrangler 2dr Rubicon and every time I open the door, the SOS call goes out. My dealership never heard of this. Why would this happen? Anybody knows how to fix this. It is driving me crazy. I have to answer the call and tell them that I am not making a call.

I suggest checking the manual regarding that function. Maybe there is a setting you can change.

Trying and failing to imagine a scenario where the user would want S.O.S. to be called every time the door is opened but perhaps I lack imagination.

If a hard reboot of the Jeep doesn't fix the issue it needs to go to a mechanic who can debug the gremlins, which is probably means a dealership and unfortunately a 2019 is out of warranty coverage. Or you could just remove the whole S.O.S. module and be done with it, but some folks around here are very sensitive about anyone doing that

I just noticed that the button that you press in the rearview mirror is pressed in. Doesn't stick out so you can press it. It seems to be stuck. I would think that this means it's always on. I am now trying to figure out how to unstick it. Any ideas?

Run a credit card around the edges? Maybe a "key tag" loyalty card if a cc is too big.
(Reason: The a/c button in an old car used to stick, and that's how we could get it to "pop out.")

Try pressing around the edges/corners of the button, maybe with a flat head screw driver blade? Sounds like you found your issue though ...

A tiny bit of silicone lubricant around the edge of the button will help plastic slide against plastic, unless it's a broken spring.

Okay. Credit card was too big. The area is very tiny. I used my Skinny pointed Stop & Shop club card. It was too weak, and the button did not move, but I must have done something because, when I opened the door, it did not make the call. Next, I will use a very tiny flat screwdriver very carefully and see if I can move it out. I will keep you posted.

That didn't last long. I guess closing the door must have changed it position because the call is back. There is also a problem because there are 3 buttons, and they are all in a type frame. So when I move this button the whole frame moves. The dealer will have take care of it. I hate going there and waiting, but I have no choice.

Ummmmm, OP stated quite clearly it's a 2024. Where are you getting 2019 from?
