hey @JLWF Dealer Guy, I ordered fully loaded Rub with 2.0 last week. I have VON from dealer, but VIN has not been generated. Do you know if there is a delay in the 2.0 units? Thanks

I did the same on Feb 9th with a fully loaded 2.0 Rub. How long did it take you to get your VON from the dealer? My dealer (Fields Jeep in Sanford, FL) still hasn’t provided the VON (not VIN obviously).

You may be able to visit the factory but you won't get to see the good stuff. I think they just give a generic tour for the public.

Hey, Dealer Guy, not sure if this has been asked before, so maybe I'll be the first, maybe not. Anyways, can you just ban me from the forum? I can't get any work done because I'm spending too much time trolling this freaking site, and it's getting me no where. Just spoke with dealer today to check on status of build, and I went from D1 back to D after over a month. I give up!!

Potentially you can get them when you pick it up. The issue with these keys is that they are not a normal cut-able key. They are lazer cut. Most deaelrships wont invent the $15k for a lazer cutting machine so they order them based on the VIN from the manufacturer. I don't know when your VIN would be able to have extra keys cut for them though being it's not actually invoiced yet. Contact your dealer and have them look into it for you.

So I got some pricing on keys, each additional key is 164$, and programming is 89 (total regardless of if doing 2 3 or 4 keys, one cost).
So I was told if I want two keys it sould be 164x2=328 +89=417? thats seem pretty high? is this standard?

It shouldn't go backwards, but hard to say honestly. If it is a sold order, it should not go backwards.

So my order went from jb to kz, then back to jb for a day, then today back in kz..so I had a similar thing happen. mine is a sold order.

<24 hrs for the VON, but no VIN from order on 2/8. I hope we don't get caught in all the delays and they turn them out in 4-5 weeks!

Hey there,
I'm looking for your opinion. I'm talking to my (possible) dealer about placing an order to try to take advantage of 0% financing that they have (here in the great white north, at least) in February.
The thing is, I want Mojito. I'm ordering a manual, with LED lights. I've read that both LEDs and manuals are on restriction. Will that mean that my order will be paused at a status that would allow me to change colour when Mojito opens?
My dealer is lovely, but I know more about the JL than he does, so I'd love your thoughts on this.
