It’s astounding how some dealers have no clue. When I was shopping for a new deal, the salesman told me that the JLs begin in 2019 and you can’t order them. We went back and forth and I decided that no sense in arguing that point with him. He also told me that I didn’t want a manual, but I could order what I want. Gee...thanks.

No claims...........................will be accepted. Once I give my deposit will I be getting another document that shows a confirmed price? My fear is can the dealer change this pricing when the vehicle arrives? I'm sorry ordering a vehicle for the first time and don't know anything about it.

It’s not a big issue. They all say that at the bottom in case FCA decides to change the pricing mid stream. At worst, a hundred bucks here or there. It’s really not a big deal. You most likely are fine. I’ve rarely seen it change. It does, but I have my doubts in this case.

Another question and I'm not familiar with FFP and EP on this document. So the EP is what I'll be paying + Taxes and license fee which is approx 9% which my dealer mentioned?

It would be better if the dealer would write the out the door price on one of those forms before you put a deposit down. There is nothing binding, but they’re likely to honor it if you have it writing.

Depends on what you negotiated. FFP is roughly 1% under invoice. EP is 5%. Did you negotiate 9% off MSRP? It’s a good deal in my opinion if you did.

I got 5% of the Invoice so the price I'm getting is $47,839 plus license and taxes which he mentioned would be about 9%. But it was all over the phone and this document.

So, get your invoice. @Mid-life Wrangler said, ask for your out the door price. And of course, our resident expert @JLWF Dealer Guy thinks your deal is good. Just get the out the door price in writing. If you love it, sign the bill of sale to get the process going. Good luck!
