Good morning @JLWF Dealer Guy. I’ve posted in the Tread Lightly forum with my dilemma. My welcome letter doesn’t include the Chrysler Affiliates Rewards program, but instead a tires discount program. I paid the $100 fee and I’ve emailed Mandy at Tread Lightly. Do you think I have anything to be concerned about or is it possible that I was simply sent the wrong letter? The front of the letter does include a membership number. What are your thoughts?

I asked Mandy about this same thing. Wait your 30 days and follow the instructions (#1) on the right side of your letter. Chrysler will give you a control number and you take the control number Chrysler gives you along with the membership letter to your dealer.

The EP doesn't carry over to the warranty but I'm a huge fan of the extended warranties in general. I also, while not expecting any issues with the JL, think any first adopters especially if they plan on keeping this Jeep for a long time, should invest in protection for themselves to make sure something doesn't need figured out.

Is there a large discount if you buy the extended warranty when you purchase the vehicle, or is it close to the same price if you buy it before the 3 year/36 month bumper to bumper runs out? I always think I'm going to keep my vehicles for a long time, but rarely works out. If the price isn't that much more, it gives you 3 years to figure that out, plus you're not coming up with an extra 3k or financing it from the start while you still have your standard warranty. Thoughts?.

The only AT tire you can select for the Sahara are Duelers. Would it be possible to order ko2's instead? or is this dependent on each dealer.

Thanks! Didn't even think about just getting estimates for under 12,000 and over 12,000 miles. Looks like the difference is only about $150. For that I would probably wait until the standard warranty was up to determine how long I planned on keeping it. On the other hand, Jeep could always end the lifetime coverage on the Wranglers like Dodge did with the SRT line, so if you're planning on a lifetime coverage, might be better to play it safe and get it with the new JL.

Its generally the same. Just up to you if you want to not come out of pocket for it and finance the amount. They are always cancel-able and you can get the prorated amount refunded if you trade or sell it.
