Does that mean that you think the Rubicon launch colors will eventually be offered with the tan cloth interior as well?
Great question. I’m honestly a little confused as why a Rubicon doesn’t have this option now. It’s not like it can cost much more. So, I don’t know. I’m just saying that there is no way they are going to not let you pick black interior. The production has to be over 100 to 1 for black vs. tan now. They have to be getting a break on the Black option because in my opinion, it’s poorer quality.

I appreciate the honest reply. I for one, hope they do offer tan cloth in the Rubicon. Black is ok, but I'd like something different that helps break up all the monotony.

I’m kinda there also. I was dead set on getting the tan interior a day ago for the silver dash alone. Now I’m torn as I like the red as well even though I want Ocean Blue. Decisions decisions.... damn it!

And the red stitching seems so bad ass. Damn it! At least I can’t get my color yet so I have time to think it out.

Dealer Guy,

I placed an order on Monday and edited it Tuesday - long story short, my dealer told me that the regional rep had to edit the order (which they told me she did successfully). The dealer is now saying that it will take a few days to get an updated POC.

Is that right? I assumed that you'd be able to pull an updated POC at any point from the computer system.

Thanks!

Because you had it adjusted internally, it may not reflect in the system immediately. If they re-ordered, you would see it.

I have my vin# already but got the upgraded wheels on my rubicon thinking they would be the black ones, dealer says he cannot change the wheels to standard ones. Now I’m out the $795 for wheels I don’t like. Is there a way to get that changed? Need your input on this. I traded my Tahoe in in November & he said because I have a vin already attached to my trade he can’t do it! Thanks for the feedback!!

If you are willing, just re-order if he can't find a way to get it changed. Have him contact his rep to see if it's possible. VIN attached to the trade? I understand what he is saying here but that can be adjusted internally.

Hi there,
still confused about the 1295 usd vs 1495 usd for the infotainment group and even more when I see the alpine sound system on the canadian order guide for 695 cad.
I currently have ordered the alpine only but will obviously change it if it is indeed the same price as the infotainment group.
Could you confirm what pricing you are currently seeing for the alpine and the infotainment when you input an order?

Many thanks!

The alpine sound is $1295, the infotainment is $1495 and includes the Alpine sound.

He said he contacted the rep & couldn’t be done, so I feel like I don’t have a choice but re order. It’s 53K so I want it to be right!! I don’t t want to be a dick but I can add the proximity feature & Jeep floor mats and still save money from the rims alone. Also do you know if you can pick the Jeep up on Toledo & save the destination fee? I’m only 2 hrs from Toledo

But the online build & price still shows them both at $1295???
I've mentioned this numerous times. The online configurator is a guide. You can only order from a dealer. The internal configurator is the ONLY correct one.

Nope, Destination fee is like the 12 gallons of gas. It is on every vehicle if it goes to Detroit or San Diego from Toledo.
