When I placed my order it was a $500.00 deposit. I signed the order sheet showing me what my trade in is and what my price is.

After all of this my dealer on his own stated "If something changes in the value of JKs and they go up we'll work with you. If the value goes down you are locked in at the price we offered. If you change your mind on the Jeep you ordered when it arrives we'll work something out with you. We don't want to keep your deposit and have you be unhappy."

You said they are not returning your calls. If they don't return your calls take a ride over and have a face to face with them. I would have an uneasy feeling if they were not returning my calls. Good luck.

Its a very large dealership.I realize dude is bz but felt blown off. As long as he doesnt wait more than 30 seconds to call me when it comes in I wont complain to dealership.lol

Looking to order up here in Alberta. I think I know more about the JL than my dealer...
Is the plain soft top standard? And if I get the Dual top group then will the hard top be black? I think I want the body color top.
Also, what is a headliner? Do I want it for warmth!? Thanks!!

Plain soft top is standard yes

Dual top group will upgrade the standard top to a Premium top and the hard top will be black

You can order dual top group (get premium top) and then choose the option for body color roof

Headliner.... I drive with soft top only, Jeep puts out so much heat I have never felt a hard top is needed at least if we are talking about it being "warmer". Headliner people will say they notice a difference in winter with heating and summer with cooling. I have never had an issue with heating or cooling with a soft top only. Others want the headliner to reduce cabin noise levels. Some swear by it, others say minimal difference.

found a white rubi near me that has everything. different color than what I ordered and also has leather which I didn't, but it's a manual which is a must have. anyways, is there a way to tell if it's dealer or sold order? I know that everyone's order is showing up on dealer's website. i'd give serious consideration to letting my order go for this one. tired of waiting. talked to jeep chat again today and after almost two months I'm still in D status. tracking through here says D1. just over it at this point. can't stand the freaking wait

I find personally it is more for looks. The other advantage in my opinion is it will hold up better over the years. Soft top has the plastic windows and over time they will need replacing or need to be polished. Hard top has glass windows so in winter soft top can be hard to see out the back as dirt builds up quickly. Hard top has wiper and can be cleaned while driving.

I don't go for hard top because I don't feel like swapping them out between seasons.

Maybe the power top will be great but it looks too much like the one they did on the Liberty years back. I worry about leaking issues and a big issue the Liberty had with that was over time the tracks getting dirty and then the top failing. Crap would build up in the exposed tracks when the top was open and cause issues with it.

Here is my question. I am ordering tomorrow they have taken the tan soft top off the build site. Do you know if that means they won’t be available this year?

IBut I see that black premium soft will be available in may? So when I order tomorrow will they be able to build it with black in the next 8-10 weeks?
