@JLWF Dealer Guy When I ordered my Jeep on 3/4, I got the black hard top. I want to get the premium soft top as well. Any idea when those will be available for purchase separately or would it be better to go ahead and change to the dual top group. Also, if I change to the dual top would that delay my order any?

Thanks!
I think it’s much cheaper to order the duel top package

Such a tough decision. I wish I had a better idea of when the soft tops will be available.

Yes dual top group upgrades the standard soft top with the premium soft top made out of cloth. Standard is made out of vinyl.

If I got mine in 6-8 weeks I’d be ecstatic.

Do you ever sleep??? Thanks for the quick reply. I’m hoping to get mine before a beach trip in July, so I think I’ll just wait on the top and pay the extra $$$ when they come out. Hopefully, it won’t take to long. Thanks!
It takes a day to build a Jeep. The rest of the time in spent waiting on parts, inspecting/fixing issues, and shipping. The reality is you can't beat the system and choose the right combination that will ship faster. What is available or having issues changes every week. You can't know now what will delay your Jeep over the next 2 months.

People around here are driving themselves crazy trying to crack the code and doing all kinds of stupid things to be "smart" and get their Jeep faster. It just doesn't work that way.

No idea when those are going to be available to purchase separately but dont. Find one on craigs list or something. The hard top is gonna be over $3k and the premium soft top around $2k from Mopar.

Ouch. 2 Grand for a soft top is crazy. But so is 50K for a JLUR, and I'm doing that so....

Question regarding Tread Lightly...

Looking at the tracking progress, it looks like my Jeep may very well be delivered in about 25-26 days total. This puts me prior to the 30 day requirement for Tread Lightly, as I joined just a couple days prior to ordering. I understand this is a firm requirement.

So, my question is... Is the discount available on the 30th day of membership or after 30 full days have passed. For example, if I joined on the 1st of a given month, would I be able to use it on the 30th, or the 31st?

My real world situation: my first day of membership is listed as Feb 13, 2018, and it looks like my Jeep may be at the dealership as early as tomorrow. 30th day is March 14, but 30 full days have elapsed on March 15. Yes, one extra day might very well kill me. :)

I’d make you wait a full 30 days

Roger that. Thank you! Now I'm hoping it will be delayed waiting for a truck, so I don't sit around stressing for a couple days about strangers test driving my car. I really need to do something about this excessive paranoia...
