Your price should be locked in and your order won't be affected by the increase.

I thought it was only base pricing, new guide should be up or up soon. Your deal should be your deal in my opinion, whatever you worked out.@JLWF Dealer Guy I tagged you in another thread on this but can you tell us exactly what pricing changes went into effect today?
Also, if we got a POC and put down a deposit with the old pricing, what price will we be charged when the Jeep comes in?
Thanks!
DealerGuy, I've discovered that my employer has an FCA affiliate code. Would you think that my dealer would be amenable to decreasing my purchase price by an additional 1% when I pick it up and close the deal? My POC agreement is for a little more than 2% under invoice. What would JLWF DG do? Thanks!I thought it was only base pricing, new guide should be up or up soon. Your deal should be your deal in my opinion, whatever you worked out.
I posted this in another thread about painting a black hardtop if the painted ones just take too long, but think it applies here too "You might already know but the black hardtop has a textured finish ,I had a 2010 Wrangler and wanted to match the top colour with the body(something that Jeep did not offer at that time!) so I had a bodyshop do it that I knew well, they charged me $800 Canadian(in 2010) and said after that if they had known the amount of sanding needed they would have charged me more lol... so if you do get it sanded and painted try to find a shop that has already done a few ,going on form,I don't think anyone will know when the coloured tops will open again until they just open up in the ordering system ...I will be ordering a black top with my Wrangler monday and if the coloured top opens up before my order goes to D1 I will be able to change it,if not I will have it painted(its $800 cheaper than a coloured top up here anyway) good luck ."Does anyone know or have a opinion or even a best guess when the Sting Gray Matching Hardtops will be available to order.
Dealer placed our order on 2/21 for a JLUR and we received our order confirmation the next day, 4EA status. Yesterday the dealer sent us a new POC because we had been issued a VIN. Invoice base price is up $460.00 (MSRP is up $500.00) and the destination charge is up $250.00 to $1445.00 on the new POC. My question for the Dealer Guy: Is the factory required to honor the pricing that was in effect when the vehicle order was placed?I thought it was only base pricing, new guide should be up or up soon. No the factory's price to the dealer will be exactly what is invoiced to the dealer.Dealer placed our order on 2/21 for a JLUR and we received our order confirmation the next day, 4EA status. It's up solely up to the selling dealer. WWJLFWDGD? I'd have figured out with you already if you worked for an affiliate before we made our deal.DealerGuy, I've discovered that my employer has an FCA affiliate code. Yep, The system is gicky right now. The anti spin is required with the Manual but indeed is grayed out. It should be fixed at some time in the near future I would assume.Went to dealer today to order String Gray.
Tried to order Sahara: Manual with AntiSpin Diff Rear Axle (Dana 44) and a number of other options.
On computer to order all manual Sahara's are yellow and furthermore AntiSpin Rear Axle is grayed out.
Dealer says doesn't know why, but it appears that you presently cannot order a Manual Sahara (nor AntiSpin Diff Rear Axle).
Anyone have insight?
JLWF Dealer Guy. What is you take on not being able to order Matching Hardtop on the Sting Gray. I'm hearing top manufacturer went belly up and someone else posted jeep need to get paint to the supplier. Can you she'd a little lite on the situation. Thanks in advanceNo the factory's price to the dealer will be exactly what is invoiced to the dealer.
Same thing for the Ocean and the Punk'n for almost a month, then it opend up. It's impossible to tell what is actually going on.JLWF Dealer Guy. Thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely give it a shot - seems like it'd be win-win. 'Tis true that my dealer was a fair bit disorganized at order time - in general, and about the JL specifically. They are helping a little with tracking, tho - so hopefully the finalization and delivery process is a good experience! It's up solely up to the selling dealer. WWJLFWDGD?
