The black leather interior on the Ruby only comes with the red dash. The tan leather interior only comes with the gray dash. There has been some speculation that this might change at some point, but as of now it has not been confirmed "if" or "when" this might happen.

Thanks for this, I have looked at the dash of every Rubicon I have seen in any videos trying to figure that out. I don't want a red dash but I also don't want tan seats.... sigh. I guess ill have to wait till they figured out that whole situation. I'm not paying 45k+ for a red dash in my face every where I go.

Can you do cloth seats in a Rubicon? If so can you get the heated seats package with cloth? after thinking about this could work for me... although that black leather looks so good.

Yes, you can do cloth seats with the cold weather package which will get you heated seats.

Hopefully I can dumb a Rubicon down enough to not have the red dash and I'll be all set.

Is there a program available that if you order you can pick up your Jeep, drive it from the factory, would that save the 1k+ delivery fee? Seems like an adventure, the next Jeep I buy will likely be my last so seemed like something that would be cool to do.

The standard seats in a Ruby are a black cloth. But I'm not sure about whether or not you can get heated seats with cloth. (The online configurator on Jeep's website will let you select the cold weather package with heated seats, even if you don't select leather seats, but I've heard that the configurator is sometimes incorrect.) Just FYI, The heavily modified Mojito green Rubicon that has been at some of the car shows has a grey dash because they changed the seats to black leather with aftermarket parts. This is something I suppose you could do too, depending on cost.

I noticed that when I did my build, I am looking at a pretty basic Rubi for the capabilities, the warranty, and the look I will have to wait for this seat color/ dash color to get figured out. I'm hoping cloth black seats comes with the gray dash. That would be best case scenario for me. Jeeps being so expensive got to get exactly what I want the first time and be good with it. Building my own bumpers and a warn winch to seal the deal but simple is key for me. I Just don't want to have to choose between a red dash and tan seats.

Dealer guy, you have any advice on my situtation... I have been having trouble with my dealer not giving me a final price for my jeep and locking down financing. I feel like they are dragging it out in order to negotiate once the jeep is already here and it gives them more leverage? Maybe just dragging their feet.

Everytime I contact my dealer I can get her to give me a final price. Should I try and get ahold of the sales manager? I have been very non high maintenance throughout the process and havent really bugged them at all.

I just dont want to be delivery day and they play hardball all of a sudden. I am a little worried as my wait is approaching 3 months and if it were to fall through I'd be staring at another 2-3 months.

Well, my dealer thought I wanted to pay MSRP and when I confronted him, I found out how inflexible the dealer was. I suggest you push them and tell them you’re walking if they won’t answer your questions.
