If you add up all the options and subtract the Alpine the bottom number matches. It’s an ordering system glitch that is common.

Your dealer may not deal, but Jeep itself has nothing to do with it. If you look through the forum, you'll find a few dealerships across the country who are offering below-invoice pricing, and the Tread Lightly thread will tell you how to get 1% below invoice while barely breaking a sweat.Hi Dealer Guy,
I ordered JLRU loaded. My dealer told me that Jeep doesn’t deal because they always sell. He told me the good thing about ordering is that I can get the MSRP without any mark up. I really like my dealer, but was wondering if this was a good deal or not?
Not a good deal. The new Wrangler, I dare say, isn’t special. It’s not a limited production vehicle like a track hawk or a demon. It’s a volume piece like the current JK. Find a different dealer. Nobody should be charging MSRP for these. Maybe, the first couple they get in for stock. But, once they start rolling in, should be same discount as normal from then on.Hi Dealer Guy,

HOW DARE YOU?!The new Wrangler, I dare say, isn’t special.

I knowHOW DARE YOU?!
There is no such thing as a Wrangler that isn't special.I knowI’m a realist. I love it though! It’s my passion! Also, new one hauls Ass. You will all be happy with your decision.
Hi again. I’ve ordered the JLRU, but is it too late to negotiate? I’ve never ordered a vehicle before, so I’m out of my depth with this. I normally purchase off the lot. I know my dealership does a lot of business, so I’m not sure that they feel they ‘have’ to negotiate. BTW...thank you for all you do with everyone in these forums. It’s much appreciated.BTW, any dealer putting a market adjustment on the JL should be publicly chastised. No way they should try to put money on top of MSRP. Boooooio!
Did you put down a deposit and was it refundable?Hi again. I’ve ordered the JLRU, but is it too late to negotiate? I’ve never ordered a vehicle before, so I’m out of my depth with this. I didn’t put a deposit down. I asked if he needed one and he said that it wasn’t an issue because they always sell out of their Jeeps. I simply don’t know the correct way to approach this. I want to do the ‘right’ thing, but at the same time I don’t want to be taken advantage of.Did you put down a deposit and was it refundable?
The reality is you haven't bought the vehicle until it comes in and you pay for it. You can at least take the Tread Lightly affiliate deal to your dealer and ask him if he will honor it. If not, I would tell him you will have to walk. I do believe you should order in good faith but I also think he should honor the affiliate program which is fair to both sides.
I would love to get the Dealer Guy's opinion on this. It is probably frustrating to close a sale and then have the customer come back and try to change the price. We would criticize a dealer who tried to do the same.
Well if he told you he was fine selling it anyway than you are under no obligation. Do you have an order form you can post? Did he enter it as a Sold Order?I didn’t put a deposit down.
