Bed liner is going to get hot in the summertime, and it’s going to increase noise in the cabin.

Do you want more heat and noise? Or less heat and less noise and something that’s still comfy on your feet if you like to drive with your shoes off on long trips?

There’s more pros and cons, but these stick out the most to me.

I’ve never driven with my shoes off on a long trip… Is this a thing? ?

I love my Armorlite; it's one of my favorite things about any vehicle, ever.

But, for foot comfort with bed liner, use mats.

On days I wear flip flops, I drive all trip lengths exclusively barefoot. ??

What kind of "Bang" are you looking for?

Easy to clean?
Road Noise Impact?
Insulation value?
Body Color Matched?
Durability?
Added Value?
Ease of Installation?

I installed the full Armorlite kit in my JL last summer and love it. The quality, fit, and performance make it easy to understand why it was chosen to be a factory option (or used to be?).

It is definitely a thing for me. Where space matters…. You can get an extra 1/2-3/4” leg room. Or with my shoes off, i can stretch my legs out behind the pedals. (I know exactly how safe that is). It does help though, and more comfortable.

I bedliner'd my 2005 LJ and always kind of regretted it, yeah it was cool because you could pull the plugs and hose it out but it was loud, hot, and really rough when you were loading and unloading stuff and working on the interior. I would for sure go armolite!

Armorlite! I have had mine installed for several years and when I clean it (light brushing with soapy water) it looks like new and ready for the show. It has done very well against the snow and salt here in the NE and mud and rocks when out on the trail. The acoustic and thermal benefits are also impressive! Will also run Armorlite in my vehicle, especially over a bedliner or other spray in.

I love my Armorlite. Fits great, insulates, noise reduction, easy cleaning. Can’t say enough about it. I bought the whole 2 dr kit too.

I had Line-X installed in my JK in July 2013. I still have the JK and just picked up a 2024 JL. I have ordered the Armorlite and if this pans out I will be ecstatic. Getting into the JL this week with the carpet actually feels.......weird. But there were plenty of times that I wish I hadn't used line-x. I get it, easy cleaning and with the leaks that I have ended up with now (original base soft top) I will never leave regular carpet in a wrangler.

I run no carpet and the stock mopar rubber floor mats that came with mine. In a vehicle that leaks like a Jeep, having anything that water can get between and the floor pan is asking for trouble (rust/mildew). When it leaks with the rubber floor mats I just pop them out and dry it off. No water stuck places I can't see to mildew and rust.

Anyone here have a pic of the rear area cut out for the sub on a 2 door?
I'd like to see how that fits together...

How easy is armorlite to take out and put back? I was able to order it (vinyl floor option). in case water gets trapped between the armorlite and the floor?
