Is the 2022 Willys the same height as the 2022 Rubion? I know the Willys has the same red shocks as the Rubion. btw - I'm thinking about going with some Bilstein shocks.

I believe that you’ll probably need to be careful talking about “the shocks” for “the Rubicon” here. I think there were several variants of red Rubicon shocks in the Mopar parts bin c. 2022. So depending on which bolt-on heavy things you ordered (hard top, steel bumpers, 2.0, etc.) you will have received different part numbers of red shocks for a particular VIN build, plus sometimes different shocks for each wheel. I have found very few of those task-specific nuances are now available in 2025 as OEM replacements from Mopar. The part numbers have all changed. For a given wheel (e.g., left front), it appears to be a slightly more universal red shock now; it may or may not be a 100% faithful “birthday” equivalent.

Also, IIRC, the 2022 Willys got red Rubi shocks, true, but I think it had Sport springs.

TL;DR - the height had several quirks.

I have a ‘21 Willys JL myself, so it’s a near-equivalent of yours. It sits higher than a Sport, but it sits lower than my more recent Rubicon X JLU.

I didn't know that about the red shocks. Thank you for explaining.

Also the Willys package changed in 2024 so from that date on they are not comparable to the early ones.
