Here's a few more pictures of the final installation (except for some wire bundling in the tail light area):

Out of curiosity, why did you move the intake up into the cabin? Also, is that fan for cooling of the compressor?

Yes, the fan is for cooling - it's hooked up to the same power circuit as the compressor and runs even when then pressure switch has the compressor motor off.

Regarding the intake relocate, I wanted cool air to feed the compressor,, and it also makes it easier to perform maintenance on the bronze filter element.

I'm getting ready to do this myself. Great idea. Can you give any insight on how you did the wiring. Do you have the aux switches or did you mount the arb switch somewhere else?

I do have the aux switch/tow pkg and I run the ARB single directly from one of the 40-amp circuits (in my case AUX2).

I ran the AUX2 line from near the battery across the top of the firewall and entered the cabin via the hole underneath the brake booster. The wire runs along the rocker panel on the driver side and then goes up the wheel wheel and enters the taillight cavity in the existing grommet at the top.

It's probably easier to use the AUX wires that are in the passenger footwell, so that's an option too.

I used very little of the ARB harness, really just the parts related to the pressure switch. The AUX2 line gets wired to the pressure switch relay and also the pressure switch, and then the ground side from the motor and pressure switch are combined and connected to the vehicle ground that is below the power outlet in the trim piece (I think it's G919A in the wiring diagram). I know that's a general description, if you need something more specific just let me know.

Im disappointed in myself. I looked at the space behind the left tail light but just could not figure out how to mount the compressor. It was clear that it would fit, but I could not figure out how to get tools in to tighten bolts etc.

Nicely done.

I opted for the 813 Fab mount that puts the ARB single on the upper driver side of the engine compartment. Wired it to my AUX 4 and ran the chuck to a bracket behind my front plate.

Sorry for the revive, but this is genius! I'm going to attempt this in my 4xe since I can't find any better spot (I don't want under the seat or cargo storage). How did this setup work for you over the years? Did you remove the hard top harness port cover to install the hose coupling? Was there already a hole, or did you have to drill a new hole?
