ive been seeing a lot of videos on youtube of installs of a dual arb compressor under the hood using the available mounting bracket that can be purchased with the compressor. However the installs are on 3-4 year old models. Ive been checking fitment on aftermarket websites to find everything is a "universal fit" & "no model/year check required". I do know some changes were made to the 2018+ models so im not sure how such a broad statement can be made.
My question is, does anyone have any insight or experience with installing the compressor under the hood, running an air hose to the cargo space in the rear then mounting the compressor in said space on 2018+ newer models.
Ultimately I am looking to hook up a quick release, air horn and other various tools.
I dont want to mount the compressor in the rear or obviously not in the cabin itself. I already have drawn up a few ideas to where to mount the horn, quick disconnect and air tank.
Thank you
