ARB Base Rack install on a Rhino-Rack Backbone?

Like the subject says. The Base Rack seems better made to me with all the welding. I'm currently running the backbone on both my 4xe JLUR and my 2-door JK, with Vortex bars. Possible? Considerations I haven't thought of? Thanks.

Hey Gary,

To do that you will have to fabricate a custom adapter from the Backbone to the BaseRack platform....Not sure that is worth the hassle. Even with a BaseRack platform, the rack will still only be as strong as it's attachment to the mounting on the car. BaseRack uses vertical rails along each side that mounts to a weight bearing system inside the cabin using jeep's frame structures.
