Anyone order from Custom Offsets?

We aren't talking electrical components, we're talking automotive wheels that cost $thousands$ per set. None of these companies keep an inventory on hand. And they are dealing with specific brands (Fuel, Axe, etc) that ship directly from the manufacturers to the sellers, as shown in my screenshots above. These sellers use deceptive terminology like "my warehouse" or "our inventory" or using deceptive images of wheels on pallets (see attached), when in reality they're simply relaying the inventory of the same manufacturer the tire shop on the corner sources their products from. I'm right now trying to find a specific wheel that is out of stock with a 4-8 week backlog. Yet this Ebay seller is showing the wheel already mounted with tires and ready to ship. However, after I contacted him, he claims they will be drop shipped from "his warehouse" (the manufacturer) to his tire store for mounting of whatever tire I choose. It's deceptive advertising and manipulation tactics to hold your money hostage while you wait the same amount of time as if you ordered them from your local tire store.

CO is a very deceptive company, they focus on the quantity of orders over quality of service. Just be very careful if you order a sought after wheel or tire, their back order period can take forever.

I just tried to order 37s through Discount Tire, the website said they were in stock but they weren't. Discount Tire reached out to me to let me know the real situation and offered comparable substitutions. They changed my order and have stated any difference in cost would be refunded for the mess-up. The store had even called to reschedule my install at a later date when they see most of the order come in. That's pretty solid customer service.

Yeah, I've always had good customer service from Discount Tire here in my town. I should have went to them this time too but they didn't offer the ceramic coat service or balance beads to avoid the nasty-looking counter weight they stick on your wheel. CO has both and at a better price. But my point still stands, you'll be waiting the same amount of time on backordered wheels, regardless who you order through, because all sellers are ordering from the same manufacturers and it's first-to-order, first-to-ship.

All I know is I'm not having a good first experience with Custom Offsets.. I ordered back in August.. they told me about 90 days.. im still waiting.. and when I email with questions about maybe similar wheels they have in stock.. I gmdont get answered.. they simply say.. "your wheels are still backorder".. im seriously considering canceling the order.. im starting to wonder if they're just gonna take my money and not deliver. Very frustrating.

Just to give an update on this situation, Discount Tire came through big time! I picked up my girlfriends new Fuel cycle wheels at the local Discount Tire store today. They look absolutely incredible! Discount Tire has earned our repeat business with a fantastic price and smooth, fast delivery.

Custom Offsets initiated a refund last Monday and it hit my credit card the following day. It was a 100% refund, as I requested. I will never order anything from CO again or recommend them to anyone. The Method NV305 (originally purchased from CO) wheels will be removed and sold. Three will be brand new and one is about 4 months old. The fifth one is from the original order but has no peeling red finish. I can’t recommend Method wheels based on this experience.

We’re getting the new wheels installed this weekend and they should look awesome on my girlfriend’s white Jeep. She’s super excited!

To bring this situation to a close, Custom Offsets issued a 100% refund. Discount Tire got the wheels and installed them yesterday. We spent the rest of yesterday and today cleaning and polishing her Jeep for a mini photo shoot. It turned out awesome! Thanks again to @Discount Tire!!! The guys at the shop did a great job installing them and it was a super friendly experience! They’ve earned repeat business from us. Here are a few pics for your viewing pleasure.
