Any tips before ordering a Moab 392?

I agree with you gato, the 26 Moab is the Rubicon with different badging at least it is how it seems to be. (which is good by me).

Wish there was better info available for production dates, but as long as the build specs don’t change I guess they will update me through the process. I’m going to go walk through a local dealer to see a couple of the colors I’m considering before the weekend, hoping to place my order early next week. (Pull trigger while wife is 100% on board!)

They couldn’t very well call it the “Last Last Last Call Final Final Final Edition, we really mean it this time Rubicon 392” especially since they now know it won’t be. ……..
Anyway- I heard they found a pallet of unused MOAB decals, badges, and shift knob medallions in inventory, so it’s another special edition “MOAB”

It would be really hard to fit that on each side of the hood……. Maybe half on the left, then the other half on the right side

Any updates on your 392 Moab build Bstran?

I have a question on the 392 Moab if anyone wants to speculate on this. The 392 Moab is a special edition, one of the 12 for 12 special editions. How "special" is that? Will the 392 Moab be continued next year? I have read that the Moab edition is to commemorate the 60th anniversary Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, which is this year. It looks like the 392 will be an ongoing JL model, as long as the JL is in production, but will the 392 be called something different than a "Moab" after the 2026 model year run is complete?

The Moab 392 is a high margin model for Jeep. I’m confident it will offered until the all new 2028 J70 starts production.

My Jeep rolled off the assembly line on 1/9, then was at their “aftermarket” shop till 1/23. The pizza tracker says it is done, but not that it has shipped. At this point I likely wont be able to get it till later in February due to some planed travel.

Am ordering mine this week. Struggling mightily to decide between the 41 and anvil. Was thinking Anvil since my buddy already has a 41 392 FE, but seeing your pics I love that color and am now thinking of going back to 41!

that was the same final 2 for me as well. I couldn’t decide so we rode over to a dealer close by and my wife liked the 41 better so that made my decision. I was good with either, now I just need to get it to the house. Still haven’t. Taken delivery yet.

Same here. It was a difficult decision. I eventually went with Anvil for my Moab order.

I decided to wait for the Feb 12 drop to see what it was, just in case... decided to go with the Willys 392 they announced, as long as it comes in '41. I'm already replacing the axles and TCase with an Atlas and D60's, and don't really need the hard top so I'm looking forward to rolling that extra $10k into my build!

I forgot to update this, but my Jeep is at the dealer in Louisiana now. I got all the paperwork done last week while on vacation, and got home last night. Wired over the rest of the down payment today (with the holiday they won’t get till Tuesday). Hoping that they can ship it mid week, and maybe I can have it this weekend.
