My 2023 Jeep wrangler Willy’s 4xe did something that I haven’t had a vehicle do in at least 15 years. The antilock brakes locked up on a hard emergency stop. I had a fawn dart out of a corn field an into the path of my wrangler snd I slammed on the brakes and just missed hitting the deer. But the Jeep locked up the brakes and laid down a patch of rubber. All the other vehicles I’ve had with antilock brakes wouldn’t do this. I stopped at my local dealership to see if I could get an appointment to have it looked at. And to my surprise they checked it while I was there with a scanner and the Jeep had no codes in it. The service writer told me it’s just the way the brake system works with regeneration on the 4xe. Does this sound right? Does it really have antilock brakes then? And insight from other members would be great. Any body else have this issue?
